King Eider Inn
The King Eider Inn of Barrow is the premier hotel north of the Arctic Circle in Alaska. The Top of the World Hotel is a modern, full service hotel offering legendary hospitality, overlooking the Arctic Ocean.
Located on the shore of the Arctic Ocean in the Heart of the Business District 330 miles inside the Arctic Circle, the hotel is 1/2 mile from the Will Rogers/Wiley Post Airport.
Top of the World Hotel was built in 1974 and has evolved over the years through numerous capital improvement projects into a modern full services lodging facilities serving the traveling public. The hotel features 50 well appointed guest rooms with direct dial phones, remote controlled cable TV, private bath and refrigerator; with queen, full and twin size beds available. Room service is available to hotel guests. The hotel also offers a spacious lobby area, well stocked gift shop, beverage bar, and twenty-four hours front desk service.
The adjoining restaurant serving Mexican/ American cuisine is equipped with two dining rooms and a coffee shop that offer our hotel guests a unique and convenient dining experience. The restaurant is leased out to a local entrepreneur.
