This is the best tour of the Park. You will travel 95 miles through the Park to the backcountry township of Kantishna, 30 miles beyond the turn-around point of the Tundra Wilderness Tour. Your driver/guide will give a full narration of the flora, wildlife and fascinating history of the area. Along the way, you will make multiple stops for pictures, rest stops and wildlife sightings. In Kantishna enjoy lunch at a backcountry lodge with free time for hiking and exploring at the area. Your return to the Park entrance is via a breathtaking scenic flight. Transfer to your hotel is included.

A great introduction to river rafting in Alaska. This exhilarating 11 mile journey down the Nenana River provides several Class I, II rapids and one Class III rapid. Have your camera at the ready as you may see moose, sheep, caribou and bear. You may choose to grab a paddle and participate, or sit back and enjoy the ride while the guide does all the work. This is the perfect rafting adventure for families. Minimum age 5 years. |

This unigue jet boat experience navigates 12 of the most picturesque miles of the Nenana River to a private wilderness camp. Local woodsman will provide fancinating lectures on hunting, trapping and other skills needed for subsistance living. There will also be an opportunity to try your luck at gold panning. Tour includes your own 4WD Jeep for up to four persons, guide, narration and snack. Follow your guide in the lead Jeep on a beautiful journey into Denali's backcountry. Your destination is Stampede Road, a road carved out of the wilderness by early miners working the Kantishna gold fields. This incredible flight takes you from a private airstrip near the park's entrance along the Alaska Range 90 miles into the park, over some of the most breathtaking topography anywhere in the world. The pilot will provide a fascinating narration as you are busy taking picture after picture. Weather permitting, every flight is scheduled to fly around the summit. Flights depart every other hour commencing at 8:00 am. Local area hotel transfers to/from the airstrip are included.

Step back from the crowds and join an intimate group for a personal tour of the homestead and kennel of three-time Iditarod winner Jeff King and his wife, well-known wildlife artist Donna Gates King. You will see his champion sled dogs and their puppies, plus have an opportunity to watch Jeff work the dogs. For the art lovers, there is time to wander into Donna’s renown studio.
