Day 1 -
Fairbanks
Arrive in Fairbanks on your own. Remainder of day to explore city. Overnight accommodations included.
Day 2 -
Fairbanks /
Denali /
Kantishna
The Alaska Railroad departs this morning for a picturesque
ride along the Nenana River to Denali
National Park. Continue by bus for a scenic 90 mile
drive to Kantishna arriving in time for dinner. D
First Class Dome Rail Upgrade, only $99.00 per person.
Day 3 -
Kantishna
Enjoy the wilderness of the park. Join a hike guided by a Kantishna naturalist, pan for gold, try a mountain bike or simply enjoy relaxing at the lodge. Home-cooked meals included. B, L, D
Day 4 -
Kantishna
Activities include guided or independent hiking, picnic lunches, gold panning, mountain biking or just relaxing at the lodge. (Activities vary depending on accommodations used.) B, L, D
Day 5 -
Kantishna /
Anchorage
Return to the park entrance via bus (or by air for an
additional $225 per person), and board the Alaska
Railroad for a picturesque ride to Anchorage arriving
this evening. Overnight included. B
Day 6 -
Anchorage
Tour ends at hotel check-out.
